Welcome Vexxed! Tell us who you are and how you started to make music?
Hi, I’m a Dutch guy named Dijck Dessens and I make music under the alias Vexxed! I started with making music back in 2019, after I attended my first Hardstyle festival.
What inspires you to produce music?
I love the process of making music and showing it to the world, especially all the reactions I get from the listeners.
What is your creative process?
Depends on how I feel and which things are going on in my life. Sometimes I have this amazing idea that just pops into my head, while other times I’m just going with the flow and doing whatever feels right at that moment.
How would you describe your latest release?
My latest release is called ‘Beat Drop’ which combines the hard and rough sounds from Hardstyle together with an uplifting melody. When making this track, I wanted to create something that was super catchy, while still being able to blow up some speakers.
What can we expect from you in the future?
My main goal is to play at all the large festivals in the Netherlands, but also those outside of it. Next to that, I will keep on improving my sound, so I’ll keep growing as an artist.
