The organization that held the parade is the very same, Evan’s Explosion -an indie pop artist from New Mexico, says got him disfigured in the first place.
At least thats what he claimed in an episode of his self named talk show (currently playing in syndication on New Mexico’s public access channel).
“The fact is, despite what happened or didn’t “, Evan says “I respect them (Albuquerque Pride) so much for making so many efforts this year to increase representation , they’ve already had a virtual Pride & now an in person celebration within 2 months of each other . I’m just so excited to be apart of this one , with my own float”.
This is his 3rd Float in a Pride Parade celebration .
