With LE SAUVETAGE, Nicolas Dax Delivers a Powerful Visual Conclusion to His EP ODYSSÉE

With LE SAUVETAGE, multidisciplinary artist Nicolas Dax unveils the visual culmination of his EP ODYSSÉE—an immersive work where human fragility meets deep introspection.

This musical short film explores the duality of being through a unique fusion of photography, 3D sculpture, fashion, and AI-powered animation.

At the heart of the video, two incarnations of the artist confront and complement one another. The first, stripped down, reveals raw vulnerability in the face of inner turmoil. The second, adorned in a dreamlike creation by designer Charles de Vilmorin, symbolizes transcendence after adversity. Together, they dance, converse, and weave a silent narrative of personal reconstruction.

Created in collaboration with Studio Intangible and The Quiffs, the project stems from a meticulously staged photo shoot, enriched by 3D models of floral sculptures designed by the artist himself. These elements are then brought to life through artificial intelligence, animating a world that floats between the real and the virtual. Vilmorin’s outfit, digitally recreated, becomes a shifting architecture—an extension of the body and its emotions.

Composed alongside Amakuno, the film’s melancholic score moves like a breath through the images, echoing each visual transformation with emotional resonance.

With LE SAUVETAGE, he brings this vision to life in a piece where 3D and AI are not mere effects, but tools serving a unique, deeply human artistic language.
