Who is The Ruben:
Ruben, a singer-songwriter from Northern Norway, declined an offer to join the band “22,” which features guitarist Magnus from “Gåte.” He began his solo career in December 2022 and started releasing new songs in late 2023. Influenced by his upbringing in the city of Northern Lights, his melodic style boasts a charismatic edge and impressive vocal expression.
Ruben’s musical journey started at age 6, recording and singing on his mother’s cassette player. After a pandemic-induced hiatus, he collaborated with producer Julian Laping, aka “Toneaffair,” in Berlin in August 2022, resulting in a forthcoming track.
2024 looks promising for The Ruben, with multiple new releases and potential live performances. Starting December 2023, he will focus on solo projects and collaborations with other Norwegian producers, including an upcoming track with Toneaffair.
