Jessenation is one of our revelation of 2023, and the artist is about to release a new project titled “PENG” (Pen Not Gunz).
We had the chance to discover it before the release, on march 10th, and “PENG” is an eclectic and inspiring opus with strong messages. Jessenation has sculpted a unique afro-fused musical presence of positive vibes in the wide-ranging genres of hip-hop, Afro Pop, and R’n’B. The artist is breaking all boundaries between him and success and delivering the best of his creativity.
Jessenation has our full admiration as he also founded “Pen not Guns” as a campaign to promote non-violent expression and creativity among young people.
The campaign encourages individuals to use the power of words and writing to communicate their thoughts and ideas, rather than resorting to violence.
Jessenation believes that writing can be a powerful tool for change. The campaign will provide writing workshops, literature events, and opportunities for young people to showcase their writing to a wider audience. The goal is to encourage creative expression, build self-esteem, and promote peaceful problem-solving skills.
