
UV Rose is an American emerging artist who’s on a mission to empower others. She does just that with her latest release “Living Life”. We got to chat with her about her artistry, new release and goals.
Can you please start by introducing yourself to our readers?
– My name is Roshedah Parkman; currently residing in LA. I go by the artist name UV Rose which UV stands for “Ultra Vibe.” The energy I carry into my music and in real life is Tremendous; a vibe like no other.
What was the starting point of your career in music?
– I’ve always had the passion for music since a young age. Always coming up with unique verses without any instrumentals but due to life situations and no family support I officially started my music career professionally about 2 years ago.
Congratulations on your latest release “Living Life”. It’s the uplifting song we all need to listen to! Did you make that song based on your personal experience?
– This song is based on navigating the most challenging life experiences and how I overcame certain situations dealing with toxic individuals. I give praise to the man above for guiding me on this wonderful journey to fulfil my creative endeavors. Such a blessing!
Who’s your dream collaboration? (who knows, they might be reading this haha)
– Rihanna of course, definitely my idol!
Where do you see yourself a year from now?
– I see myself owning my own recording studio in 3 different countries.
What do you want listeners to take from your music?
– Never stop chasing your dreams and don’t let any obstacle hinder your growth to success!
