Dust off your boomboxes and turn the bass up! If you’re a true head for raw, unvarnished 90s hip-hop, this one is guaranteed to give you goosebumps. Fresh off a historical vault release, “95 Flava” lands on modern streaming platforms as a pure capsule of East Coast rap royalty.
Originally recorded back in 1995 from a lost cassette tape and meticulously remastered, this joint captures late legend DMX right at his peak underground era—hungrier, grittier, and more electric than ever. Produced by the iconic DJ Superior and Jonah Marc Levine, the track delivers that signature dusty boom-bap bounce that defined an entire generation.
The track reunites three core members of the legendary underground crew G.o.G. (Gangsters of the Ghetto), highlighting a killer performance by Q45 (Danielle Williams). It’s an authentic slice of NY street poetry: no shiny pop gimmicks, zero commercial polish, just straight-from-the-gut bars and raw energy.
Following a feature in Billboard uncovering DJ Superior’s trove of unreleased gems, “95 Flava” is only the first spark of a massive vault reopening under MOST HATED ENT.
Turn it up loud, press play, and take a trip back to 1995. It’s hip-hop history reborn!
