Rockstar Baby Blue is an emotional odyssey of seven tracks where Auraa The Kiddo reveals her full ambivalence. As powerful as it is vulnerable, the music and lyrics leave us feeling raw at times, while at other moments, they ignite us with the energy of a comet. This is especially true in her standout track, “Supernova,” which captures the explosion of a dying star that, in its final moments, radiates light throughout the universe. It’s a song that inspires one thought: to find our inner supernova and rise from the ashes, shining brightly.
Such is the world of Auraa The Kiddo: futuristic megacities shrouded in night and humidity, slow explorations, and a spirit of conquest and revenge. She shoots her music videos in Tokyo to bring this aesthetic to life, drawing inspiration from her cult films: Drive, Lost in Translation, In the Mood for Love, and The Fifth Element.
