Welcome to our redaction! Tell us who you are and how you started to make music?
I’m Steven Sinanan, the creator behind Horizon Beats, alongside my co-founder Recardo. We’re based in Queens, New York, and the project started as a way to express real-life experiences through music. Being around so many different sounds growing up shaped how I approach production today.
What inspires you to create music?
I’m inspired by real situations and emotions that people can relate to. I try to capture a feeling and translate it into sound, allowing listeners to connect in their own way.
What is your creative process?
It usually starts with a melody or chord progression, then I build around the mood of the track. I focus on flow, pacing, and refining the idea until it feels complete.
How would you describe my latest release?
“Come Back Over” is a reflective track about reconnecting with something even when you’re unsure if it’s the right decision. It’s built around a melodic, atmospheric sound to match that feeling.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Right now, I’m focused on consistent releases and developing a stronger identity for the project. There’s an upcoming album along with more singles aimed at refining the sound and growing organically.
