Kollision Course has just unveiled “Jessica”, the story of an ordinary, anonymous man — “not a hero, more like a zero” — drifting through life without direction, crushed by society and the weight of everyday routines. In a world that seems to trample over him, an unexpected encounter will completely alter his path.
Actress and performer Marilou Aussilloux makes her directorial debut with this project. She portrays a man who has just been laid off, wandering among concrete towers, until he encounters Jessica — a luminous apparition who truly sees him for the first time. She guides him toward his alter ego on a theater stage, whispering, “Fly like an eagle,” as if to show him that another life is possible.
The video pays tribute to disobedience — the freedom to reject society’s imposed narratives and to create one’s own. “Jessica” embodies a voice of liberation, artistic expression, and self-discovery, bringing a breath of sensitivity into an accelerated, mechanical world.
Musically, Kollision Course stands as one of the emerging faces of French independent rock. Blending powerful melodies, sharp-edged guitars, and raw energy, the band draws inspiration from The Strokes, Nirvana, and Arctic Monkeys to deliver authentic garage rock that speaks to a generation searching for renewal.
