Formed in 2016, Tessia has always been more than just another heavy band. They thrive in high-concept storytelling, infusing their brutal sound with progressive structures and cinematic flair. Fronted by the fearsome and magnetic Julie Marie Berthelsen, the band draws influence from giants like Arch Enemy and Jinjer, but brings a mythic, narrative-driven edge that’s all their own.
Their new single, “Futility of Fate,” is the first glimpse into the next chapter of their conceptual saga, The Cataclysm Pt. 2, and it hits hard. Think- guttural roars, razor-edged guitar riffs, and shifting time signatures swirl into a track that feels both punishing and poetic.
