Blending jazz and bossa nova influences, Klintmoor explores sounds reminiscent of the golden age of the 60s. The solar guitars and rhythms intertwine seamlessly with his celestial voice, evoking that of a crooner, both retro and modern.

Welcome to our redaction! Tell us who you are and how you started to make:

Beginning as a teenager touring Hamburg and Berlin with a Kraut Rock Band, before transitioning into a career in the medical industry. Now, I’m returning to my first love—music—with a diverse taste and a private “Attic” Studio where I explore and create across various genres.

What inspires you to write and create music?

Writing music is inspired by the emotional depth and complexity of human experiences, allowing me to express what words alone often cannot. The interplay of melody and rhythm offers a unique way to connect with others, transcending language and cultural barriers. Each composition is a journey of discovery, where every note is an opportunity to explore new dimensions of creativity and connection.

Do you have a specific creative process?

My creative process begins with finding a spark of inspiration, whether it’s a mood, a phrase, or a melody that resonates deeply. I then experiment with different musical elements, layering sounds, rhythms, and harmonies until they align with the emotion or story I want to convey. Finally, I refine and polish the piece, focusing on balance and flow, ensuring that every part contributes to the overall impact of the music.

You are about to release a new song “Cupid Is a Devil”, how can you describe it?

“Cupid Is a Devil” is a dark and melancholic Bossa Nova track that explores the complexities of love, portraying it as both seductive and dangerous. It reflects the duality of love’s allure and its potential for heartbreak. The lyrics delve into the idea that love, often seen as innocent, can sometimes be manipulative and destructive, challenging the listener’s perception of romance.

What can we expect from you in the future?

In the future, I plan to experiment with new genres and sounds, pushing the boundaries of my music to create something fresh and unexpected. I’m also looking to collaborate with other artists, blending diverse influences to craft unique and compelling tracks. Additionally, I aim to connect more deeply with my audience through live performances and storytelling, making each release a more immersive and personal experience.
