How did you start making music?
For me, It’s all I ever wanted to do. When I was five years old, I had this old guitar I used to play. When my father asked what I wanted to do when I got older, I always said, “I want to play guitar” Also my father was a painter and devoted his entire life to dance salsa music so I was always exposed to music and art.
What inspires you to create music?
The beauty of life and everything in between, a song doesn’t exist until you write it. I find it thrilling to take a thought, feeling, memory and turn into something tangible like a song. Where poetry, chords and melodies come together into music.
Do you have a specific creative process?
I don’t feel I have a specific creative process. It is always different. I have always said that music is already inside you. We just have to let it come out. A simple smile can unlock it.
How would you describe your upcoming release?
A mix of house music with a touch of latin grooves. A love letter to the deny of romantic feelings.
What do you plan for the future?
Honestly I have no plans for the future, Just keep doing What I love and hopefully inspire others with my sounds.
