Dutch producer and songwriter Dayle Hamers, best known as one half of the duo MAYOR, is redefining the sound of modern electronic music. Through projects such as Nokiaa and HYDAWAI, Hamers built an audience of more than 300 million global streams, but MAYOR marks his most personal and forward-looking work yet.
A collaboration with Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Ray Goren whose credits include performing with B.B. King and a Billboard Top 20 single with Bebe Rexha MAYOR blends electronic production with soulful, live instrumentation. The result feels both futuristic and timeless, bridging continents and cultures.
Earlier in his career, Hamers earned the support of innovators like Noisia and Eprom, releasing genre-bending tracks and performing across Europe. That same experimental spirit now fuels MAYOR’s distinctive sound: emotive, detailed, and cinematic.
For Hamers, MAYOR represents expansion rather than reinvention a new chapter that unites his technical precision and storytelling instincts under one global vision.
