Discovering our best artist of the day: Blac Mac

We discovered Blac Mac thanks to his latest offering, an EP entitled “Mactivis, Vol. 1” which accompanied our whole weekend!

Blac Mac stands out from his peers thanks to his recipe between rap, singing, and his trap, RnB-infused vibe.

The 6 tracks EP is pleasant to hear from start to finish and Blac Mac manages to captivate us.

We wanted to know more about his career and inspiration: rendezvous below to discover our conversation with him and listen to “Mactivis, Vol. 1” right now!

Welcome, we are glad to have you today. Can you introduce yourself to our readers and tell us how you started to make music?

I’m Blac Mac and I rap and go to school. I’ve been rapping forever but I just started taking music seriously these past six seven months. I just saw everyone in this system where they work a 9-5 and give up on their dreams. I just want to be someone 10 year old me would like. I want to be remembered

What inspires you to write songs?

My songs usually come from my exact feelings or what I’m doing in a moment. I freestyle a lot so My inspiration is usually something going on right that second.

How would you describe your creative process?

I like to get all alone and turn the lights off, then I soak in what I’m feeling or going through in that exact moment. Or I try to think of how I felt in a moment. Then I either freestyle or write what’s on my mind.

Can you introduce your latest release?

My latest release was this single called FWM featuring my brothers Griggzy & QuanNumba9. I had this hook i was working on and it just so happened that we had all gotten to link up in the studio and really cook something up together. Griggzy and Quan have such different flows, so I knew if I put them on a track together, it would slide.

What is your main plan for the future?

I plan on playing my role until it’s my time to shine. I don’t know when that’s going to be but I’ll be ready when it happens. Until then I’m just grinding and giving my fans the best work I can give them. I have a single coming out late October which will probably lead into a tape or something. After this next project, I’m going to drop more a lot more than I used to.
